Use Tags to filter content on your site. They can be used to filter a Thumbnail Index or a Set that has been Stacked.Adding tags to a page: To add a Tag to a Page, edit the page via the Content tab and type out the Tags, separated by commas. For example:
Tag 1, Tag 2
Using tags to filter a Thumbnail Index: If using a Thumbnail Index, you can filter which Thumbnails are shown by selecting "Tag" under "Show Thumbnail Index" and typing out the tag. You can show links to the filtered Tag for each Thumbnail by enabling the "Tags" option within the Thumbnail Index menu in the Design tab. To filter by
Tag1 AND Tag2
, separate them with a comma. To filter by Tag1 OR Tag2
, separate them with ~
. For example, Tag1~Tag2~etc...
You’ll find an example of this on our Dry Land Template.Adding content above a filtered Thumbnail Index: When viewing a Thumbnail Index filtered by tag, only the thumbnails of the pages with that tag will be visible. You can create a page with the same title as a tag if you'd like to directly control the specific content displayed in the filtered Thumbnail Index. Alternatively, a Pinned page as a navigation menu with links to tags will also appear on the filtered Thumbnail Index.
Linking to a Tag view: To create a link to a page that is filtered by a tag, look for the “Tag(s)...” option while creating an internal link.
Using tags to filter a Stacked Set: Cargo sites can also filter a Stack of Pages by Tag. Examples of this can be found on the Sensitive Acquisitions Template, and the “Index” Page of the Solo Template. To allow this, you’ll have to enable the “Stack all Pages in a continuous feed" in the Design tab.
