You can create test Products to make sure that visitors can place Orders:
Create a Product with a price of 50 cents. Add the product to your site, and be sure to password protect the page so that visitors won’t be able to make a purchase.
Next, purchase your test product when viewing your site outside of the Admin.
After the order has been completed you can refund yourself if desired. Read more about managing orders and refunds.
